CIARAN CONNEELY JOINS AS NEW PARTY WALL DIRECTOR

NOV 2023

We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to the Consil team. Ciaran Conneely has joined us as a new Party Wall Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a remarkable track record in Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters, which will further strengthen our position as a leading Rights to Light, Daylight and Sunlight, and Party Wall Surveying firm.

Ciaran's specialism lies in representing building owners engaged in the development of large and complex Central London projects. Over the last few years he was the lead surveyor advising on complicated boundary and oversail matters on the In and Out Hotel and Residence redevelopment in Piccadilly, Ballymore’s Baltimore Wharf, the Park Modern development by Fenton Whelan in Bayswater and a number of complex hotel schemes for Whitbread in central London. Ciaran's knowledge extends to Rights to Light and Daylight and Sunlight analysis, where he employs advanced 3D computer modelling software and collaborates with planners and developers to offer a comprehensive range of Neighbourly Matters services to clients.

In his new role at Consil, Ciaran will work closely with fellow Directors Paul Smith and Aaron Langley to enhance our standing as market leaders in Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters consultancy.

Commenting on this significant appointment, Paul Smith, one of Consil's Directors, expressed his excitement:

"Ciaran has incredible experience and brings an exceptional track record, advising on a number of exemplar schemes. His arrival heralds an exciting new period for Consil, as we continue to grow and deliver first-class projects for our clients."

Ciaran is equally excited about his new role:

"I am thrilled to be joining such a forward-thinking business. In the current climate, navigating the planning and development process requires the best advice and negotiation skills. I’m looking forward to advising clients on the most efficient use of legislation, enabling them to maximise their statutory powers and, where necessary, negotiate access to neighbouring land and buildings to deliver new development."

Established in 2018, Consil is a specialist firm of Rights to Light, Daylight and Sunlight, and Party Wall Surveyors. We work collaboratively with project and design teams to provide commercial advice and ensure that neighbourly issues are understood and managed effectively.
